Ingredients
- 200g paneer (cubed)
- 1 onion (sliced)
- 1 capsicum (sliced)
- 2 tomatoes (pureed)
- 1 tsp ginger-garlic paste
- Kadhai masala
- Spices: turmeric, chilli, coriander powder
- Salt
- Kasuri methi
- Oil
Step-by-step
Step 1 — Prepare kadhai masala
Roast whole spices and crush coarsely.
Step 2 — Sauté onion & capsicum
Stir-fry sliced onions & capsicum on high flame.
Step 3 — Prepare tomato masala
Cook tomato puree with spices until oil separates.
Step 4 — Add paneer
Add paneer cubes and crushed kadhai masala.
Step 5 — Combine & finish
Add sautéed capsicum-onion, sprinkle kasuri methi and simmer.
Tips & Variations
- Use fresh paneer for best results.
- Do not overcook capsicum — keep it slightly crunchy.
