Ingredients
- 1 cup curd
- 2 cups cold water
- 1 green chilli
- 1/2 inch ginger
- 2 tbsp coriander
- 4–5 mint leaves
- 1/2 tsp roasted cumin powder
- 1/4 tsp black salt
- Salt to taste

Step 1 — Blend ingredients
Blend curd, cold water, ginger, coriander, mint and chilli until smooth & frothy.
Step 2 — Add spices
Mix in roasted cumin powder & black salt for authentic flavour.
Step 3 — Chill & Serve
Pour into glasses, garnish with mint and serve immediately.
Tips & Variations
- Add crushed ice for a summer refreshment.
- Skip green chilli for a mild version.
- Add 1 tsp boondi for “Boondi Chaas”.
- For thicker chaas, reduce water to 1.5 cups.
